Job summary

My Place Hotel in Anchorage seeks a Guest Services Representative to be the main contact for guests from reservation to checkout. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, record charges, and help guests with local information.

The role requires friendly communication, organizational skills, dependability, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include front desk tasks, basic cleaning assistance, and promoting the Stay Rewarded loyalty program.

Qualifications

• Guest-facing role with guest service responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy and organization.
• Reliable, professional and consistent performance is essential.
• Strong attention to detail for financial transactions and records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during check-in/check-out, record charges accurately.
• Provide information on hotel, local attractions, restaurants and services.
• Operate the front desk phone system and manage wake-up calls and messages.
• Process payments, cash handling, and guest charges per policy.
• Maintain Night Audit materials and front desk logs; report issues to management.
• Follow safety and security procedures and inspect property for compliance.
• Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to guests.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking tasks and snow/ice removal as needed.
• Deliver guest supplies and manage master keys for staff as required.
• Assist housekeeping during busy periods and maintain front desk organization.
