Valor is seeking a Front Desk Guest Relations professional in the United States to welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, take reservations, and provide local information. You will balance cash, handle payments, and upsell services where appropriate while maintaining a welcoming demeanor.

The role emphasizes high guest satisfaction, accurate record-keeping, and teamwork with housekeeping and other hotel departments. Prior front desk experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3–12 months of guest relations experience.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, quote room rates, and upsell when possible.
• Verify registration details against computer records.
• Pre-register and manage reservations, including future bookings.
• Balance cash and cash equivalents at start and end of shift.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide hotel information.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.
