The Smyth Tribeca in New York, NY is seeking a Guest Services Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage smooth check-in/out, and set the tone for an exceptional stay. You will assist with concierge services, know local dining and attractions, coordinate with other departments, and ensure guest privacy.

This on-site, full-time role requires a polished appearance and strong communication. The position offers full-time hours with options to work weekends/evenings/holidays and opportunities to deliver

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year front desk or guest-facing experience in luxury or boutique hotel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with property management systems; Opera knowledge a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Handle check-in and check-out efficiently.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
• Provide knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and dining.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.
• Process payments and manage billing per hotel policy.
• Maintain front desk and lobby area.
• Assist with concierge services, transportation, and special requests.
• Protect guest confidentiality and privacy.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance the stay.
• Handle VIP guests with discretion.
