Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent in San Diego to deliver Sonesta Service at the front desk, assist guests, process transactions, and support operations during shifts. You will be the first brand contact and help with reservations, upselling, and guest requests.

This role requires strong English communication, basic math, and customer service experience, with potential certification requirements such as ServSafe and TIPS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications expected or required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously; take reservations and process changes.
• Process cash and card transactions; handle deposits and reports.
• Upsell rooms and assist with reservations during shifts.
• Maintain security of cash, guest information, and safes.
• Support front desk technology and guest relations during shift.
