Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet customers and manage the storage pick-up process. You will ensure proper verification, data collection, and smooth handoffs at pickup, while providing product knowledge and assistance to customers.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available at multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• One year of retail sales experience or equivalent education/experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of staff
• Solid computer skills and internet coordination experience
• Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet storage buy customers.
• Manage the storage buy pick-up process with the company’s car topper program.
• Be knowledgeable and comply with the company’s phone answering SOP.
• Verify the identity of the person picking up the storage buy orders.
• Collect required customer information for all storage buy pickups.
• Deliver customer storage buy orders in POS.
• Follow safety SOPs for lifting and handling.
• Provide product knowledge and assist customers with questions and selections.
• Maintain store appearance by cleaning and stocking products according to brand standards.
• Uphold company core values in all duties.
