Job summary

Residence Inn Seattle University District is hiring a full-time Guest Services Manager to lead the Front Desk and enhance the guest experience. The role spends the majority of time in front desk and guest-facing operations with some administrative duties, scheduling, and training.

You will oversee daily guest interactions, ensure service standards, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues while maintaining a visible leadership presence in the lobby.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 4 years in guest services/front desk or related area.
• OR: 2-year degree in Hospitality/Hotel-Restaurant Management with 2 years in guest services/front desk.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively work with the Front Desk team and support daily operations.
• Perform Front Desk duties including check-ins/outs, reservations, guest requests, billing, room assignments, and upgrades.
• Lead Front Desk shifts and provide operational leadership to Guest Service associates.
• Assist during high occupancy, peak arrival/departure, and other challenges.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, Breakfast, and other departments to resolve issues.
