Job summary

Festival Foods is seeking a Guest Services Assistant Department Manager in Oshkosh. You will lead front-end operations, mentor staff, and ensure a welcoming guest experience across busy shifts in a full-time, hospitality-driven grocery environment.

You’ll coordinate with the Guest Services Manager, mentor teammates, and uphold safety, quality, and attendance standards while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture for our guests.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail, restaurant, front desk or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills to solve problems with guests and team.
• Team-oriented with passion for training and developing others.
• Organizational skills to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and policies for a compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service with professional, caring guest interactions.
• Assist the Guest Services Manager with department operations and policies.
• Mentor and develop associates; conduct onboarding and training sessions.
• Manage daily guest services operations and delegate tasks for productivity.
• Create schedules balancing guest needs and labor budgets using labor tools.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Collaborate with Bookkeeping and Loss Prevention to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Ensure regular attendance and arrange replacements for absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
