Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Guest Services Representative to ensure a welcoming stay for guests. The role handles guest requests, answers phones, checks guests in and out, and collects payments following company procedures.

You will maintain front desk paperwork, uphold safety standards, and uphold ESA's service culture by treating guests and colleagues with respect and kindness while actively promoting the value of ESA to convert inquiries into reservations and occupied rooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interact with guests and staff.
• Proficient operation of property management system technology and cash handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests.
• Assists and responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures per company guidelines.
• Manage cash, credit card and city ledger accounts at the property.
• Maintain breakfast display and keep front desk and common areas organized and clean.
