Job summary

South Beach Group Hotels seeks a Front Desk Agent to ensure prompt check-in/out and handle guest requests professionally. You will welcome and register guests, follow security and credit policies, and support resort operations with a strong professional image.

The role requires prior front desk or customer service experience, ability to work with computers, and strong communication skills. Flexibility for varied shifts including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk, hotel, or customer service preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Able to use computer systems and basic software.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand roles of operator, reservation agent, concierge, and housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Check guests out of the hotel per procedures and post charges to guest accounts.
• Welcome and register guests into the hotel; fulfill requests and follow security policies.
• Maintain professional image and leadership demeanor to support resort operations.
• Assist in applying credit and guest billing policies.
• Participate in daily briefings and meetings; maintain discretion in guest areas.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of guest information; follow emergency procedures as needed.
• Coordinate promotions and enhancements with staff and guests.
• Use the computer system to manage room blocks, preregister guests, and escort VIPs.
