Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown is seeking a Front Office Host / PBX Agent to join our downtown Houston team. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and act as the central hub for hotel information and calls.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, attention to detail, and collaboration with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred in hospitality or Front Office.
• PBX, hotel operations, or call-handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle registration, check-in, and check-out accurately.
• Process room assignments, keys, and guest transactions smoothly.
• Respond to guest inquiries and service recovery opportunities.
• Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Assist guests with reservations, directions, and transportation.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer and direct calls professionally and efficiently.
• Serve as PBX liaison, relaying guest needs to hotel staff.
• Document guest requests accurately using hotel systems.
