Job summary

Baywood Hotels is seeking a Hotel Front Desk/Guest Service Agent/Night Auditor for Comfort Inn Downtown DC, 1201 13th Street NW, Washington, DC. The role focuses on courteous, efficient service, accurate registration, and handling guest questions while upholding brand standards.

The position requires flexible shifts, weekend availability, and strong public relations. Prior Front Desk is not mandatory, as on-the-job training may substitute, with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality

Qualifications

• Able to work various shifts, including weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
• 1+ year related customer service experience may substitute for Front Desk experience.
• Excellent public relations skills and warm, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Register guests accurately and post charges; handle check-out.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns per brand standards.
• Coordinate guest services with other departments and outside vendors.
• Process reservations and cancellations via mail, phone, in person, and franchise system.
• Assist with check-in/check-out quickly and correctly per brand requirements.
• Upsell to maximize occupancy and revenue; knowledge of local programs.
