Job summary

Maverick Gaming LLC is seeking a courteous Hotel Front Desk Agent to support guest arrivals and departures, manage reservations, and handle front desk duties with accuracy. You will welcome guests, process check-ins/outs, collect payments, and respond to inquiries to ensure a smooth guest experience.

You will operate PBX, assist with wake-up calls, maintain occupancy knowledge, and coordinate with other departments as needed while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel or other similar customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Data entry and 10 key experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest service, positively affects interactions with external and internal guests and team members; has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.
• Issue room keys and collect payment for rooms.
• Book guests Reservations for the hotel when they call in.
• Responsible for shift paperwork and Front Desk bank.
• Assign guests accommodations in accordance with current procedures.
• Answer PBX calls and either directs them to appropriate personnel or answering guest questions at time of call.
• Collect payments for rooms and issue room keys as needed.
• Set up wake up calls for guests.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk’s.
• Perform related and/or other duties as assigned.
