Job summary

Texas State University is seeking a Coordinator for Guest Services in the Department of Housing and Residential Life in San Marcos, TX. The role oversees the visitor experience, develops and manages a tour program for prospective students, and runs the front desk and call center, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.

The incumbent will supervise Housing Ambassador staff, coordinate daily operations, and contribute to housing events and outreach efforts while maintaining high service standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, recruitment, or communications-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housing and Residential Life tour program, including daily tours and events.
• Direct desk operations and guest interactions at the main HRL reception desk.
• Assist in housing fairs, workshops and information sessions for students.
• Answer calls and emails; screen or transfer as appropriate; relay up-to-date housing information.
