Highgate Hotels in Miami seeks a Luggage Attendant to assist guests on arrival and departure and during their stay, delivering attentive service. You will help with luggage, escort guests, and support the housekeeping team by ensuring rooms and amenities meet guest expectations.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Physical stamina and confidentiality are essential. Training provided for hotel services and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds frequently to lift and move luggage.
• Ability to stand during entire shift and maintain physical stamina.
• Must communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage carts.
• Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services.
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure order and supplies.
• Explain room features and operation of electronic devices.
• Check and store luggage with tags; manage packages.
• Deliver messages, flowers, laundry, and other amenities to guestrooms.
• Assist with room changes and coordinate with front desk as needed.
• Provide information, maps and directions to guests.
