BEST Crowd Management is seeking a Guest Services Staff member for the University of Wisconsin - Madison. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to event attendees in a Madison venue.

You will help with set-up, guide guests, respond to inquiries, and support crowd management, all while maintaining professionalism. Flexible hours and a customer-focused approach are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary).
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-related roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in physical activities for extended periods.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming and assisting event attendees.
• Assist with event set-up, including arranging equipment, signage, and other tasks.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Guide guests to seating areas, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
