BEST Crowd Management is seeking a friendly Guest Services staffer for the University of Wisconsin - Madison event. The role focuses on welcoming attendees, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience. Part-time hours apply, with opportunities for flexible scheduling.

You will support event setup, crowd management, and coordination with staff and vendors to maintain smooth operations and high service standards. Prior hospitality or event experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary by local regulations).
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-related roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming and assisting event attendees with their needs.
• Assist with event set-up, including arranging equipment, signage, and other tasks as assigned.
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and venue policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities, and amenities to guests.
• Guide and direct guests to seating areas, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure a safe experience for attendees.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines to maintain professionalism and service excellence.
