BEST Crowd Management is seeking Guest Services Staff for the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Madison, WI. The part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting event operations from entry to exit.

Responsibilities include greeting attendees, assisting with setup, answering questions, guiding guests, and helping maintain safe, organized venues. Ideal candidates have strong communication, reliability, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or event roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm, solve problems, and stay professional under pressure.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming attendees and assisting them with needs.
• Assist with event set-up and signage tasks.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness, organization and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities and amenities.
• Guide guests to seating, restrooms, concessions and exits.
• Address inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors and teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management when necessary to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a high standard of service.
