Job summary

BEST Crowd Management's Guest Services team at the University of Wisconsin – Madison is seeking energetic staff to warmly welcome attendees and provide information during events. As a part-time guest services associate, you will help with setup, direct guests, answer questions, and uphold safety and service standards.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a HS diploma (college helpful), have strong communication skills, and can work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming attendees and assisting with their needs.
• Assist with event setup and signage placement as needed.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness, organization, and policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event and facilities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Support crowd management to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.
