Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking a part-time Guest Services Staff member for events at the University of Wisconsin—Madison. You will warmly welcome attendees, answer questions, and help create a safe, enjoyable experience for guests.

Applicants should be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred), and have strong communication skills. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming attendees and assisting with needs.
• Assist with event setup: signage, equipment placement, and other tasks.
• Monitor event areas for cleanliness and adherence to venue policies.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety and a positive attendee experience.
• Adhere to company policies to maintain high professionalism.
