Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking friendly Guest Services staff for events at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In this role, you will warmly welcome attendees, answer questions, guide guests to seating and facilities, and help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

As a part-time position, it requires excellent communication, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth in a supportive, diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by warmly welcoming and assisting event attendees with their needs.
• Assist with event setup, including arranging equipment, signage, and other tasks as assigned.
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and venue policy compliance.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Guide guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
