Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking a Guest Services Staff member for the University of Wisconsin–Madison event venues. You will warmly welcome attendees, provide information, and help create memorable experiences at events.

This part-time role requires reliable, friendly individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities; able to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist event attendees with courtesy and information.
• Assist with event setup, signage, and layout tasks.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Answer questions about the event, facilities, and amenities.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and teams for smooth operations.
• Support crowd management to ensure safety and enjoyment.
