Job summary

Navy Inn Memphis is seeking a Guest Service Representative I to manage front desk operations, assist guests with reservations, check-in/out, and provide information on local attractions. You will handle payments, maintain accurate records, and balance cash while ensuring guest privacy and safety.

Responsibilities include responding to guest requests, coordinating with staff for issue resolution, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment at all times.

Qualifications

• One year of general office/clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.
• Substitution of education for experience allowed per policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests at check-in and check-out, answering questions about lodging facilities and local attractions.
• Process reservations, payments, and verify guest identity and eligibility.
• Maintain front desk operations, balance shift transactions, and handle cash and receipts.
• Use the Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations and room assignments.
• Respond to guest complaints and coordinate with appropriate staff for resolution.
• Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and secure, including key control and safety procedures.
