Guest Service Representative - Night Auditor

As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Night Auditor to join our team and help shape our brand from the ground up. Quarterly bonuses, medical/dental/vision, and 401(k) are also available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner, following LBA standards of friendly hospitality.
  • Executing selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue.
  • Managing front office operations as Manager on Duty.
  • Responding immediately to guest requests and maintaining communication with management.

Pre-requisites:

  • Access to guestrooms and property, with honesty and trustworthiness being essential.
  • Pass security clearance as per company policy.
  • Experience in related industries is helpful but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree helpful but not necessary.

Physical and language requirements:

  • Ability to push/pull 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds.
  • Stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
  • Ability to see, hear, speak, and read English; other languages may be helpful.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Manager on Duty functions, cash handling, security measures, property details, reservations, and phone etiquette.
  • Proficiency with property management systems.
  • Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work independently, especially overnight.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Greet, register, assign rooms, and accommodate guest requests.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities, encourage repeat business, and handle guest issues professionally.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are balanced at shift end.
  • Assist with housekeeping, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety procedures.

Working Conditions:

Standing and walking for long periods, following laundry procedures if applicable, and assisting in other departments as needed.

Advancement Opportunities:

Potential for promotion to roles such as Assistant General Manager or General Manager with leadership development.
