Sandman Signature - USA - Plano, 8451 Parkwood Blvd, Plano, Texas, United States of America, seeks a Guest Service Agent to greet guests and handle check-ins/check-outs with a friendly, professional approach.

You will answer questions, arrange transportation, and manage reservations while maintaining accurate cash handling and front desk duties. Strong communication and Opera knowledge are required; weekend availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, welcoming and friendly environment.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Answer questions from guests and arrange transportation.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
• Book telephone reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payment and make change for guests.
• Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys, gift certificates, and wireless internet cards.
• Print updated in-house, arrival, departure, and room status reports every two hours.
• Check all unresolved departures.
• Ensure front desk is stocked with items guests may require before housekeeping leaves.
• Write wake-up calls and enter on switchboard.
• Complete welcome calls.
• Keep front desk area clean and tidy.
• Refer inquiries to appropriate divisions or departments.
• Present a positive and professional image to visitors and partners.
• Provide information about special activities.
• Observe and report security issues to the Manager.
