Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts' Canton property is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage their account information, process reservations, and ensure every stay starts with a smile and a seamless check-in experience.

You will manage guest accounts, answer questions, coordinate with housekeeping to prepare rooms, and resolve issues with professionalism in a fast-paced environment that offers growth, flexible hours, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
• Hospitality experience preferred for front desk or similar role
• Proficient in handling phone calls and maintaining composure in stressful situations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reservation systems

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings and answer questions about rates, availability, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest accommodations are ready
• Greet guests, check in and check out, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest account information
• Address and mitigate guest complaints as needed

• Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
• General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
• Mitigate customer complaints as needed
