Job summary

The Press Hotel in Portland, Maine is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join the Front Desk team. You will provide telephone services, greet guests, and assist with check-in and information to ensure a smooth stay.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Onsite roles include flexible hours, including weekends; EOS Hospitality benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years direct customer service experience, hotel/lodging environment preferred.
• Proficient with computers and learning technical systems.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone services for guests, vendors, and inquiries.
• Greet and welcome guests; assist with check-in and room information.
• Direct guests and assist with luggage and parking information.
• Monitor guest accounts, charges, and payments at check-in/out.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance; update front desk records.
