Job summary

The Press Hotel in Portland, ME is seeking a Front Desk leader to manage guest arrivals and departures, oversee the Front Desk team, and ensure each guest interaction reflects our hospitality standards.

You will handle payroll approvals, interviews, and shift briefings, while maintaining a professional atmosphere and coordinating with other departments to deliver seamless service. This role includes competitive benefits and growth opportunities within EOS Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and colleague information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with VIP meet & greets at check-in when possible.
• Interact with guests to build relationships and encourage repeat visits.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues by monitoring arrivals and departures.
• Follow up daily to close complaints and service requests.
• Oversee Front Desk operations and inventory, including signages and ambiance.
