Job summary

Marriott Seattle Airport is seeking a front desk agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in/out, and handle bookings and questions about rates, rooms, and rewards programs.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong customer service, and excellent communication skills to resolve issues efficiently and coordinate with housekeeping for ready rooms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year hospitality front desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and assist guests with bookings, rates, amenities, and rewards programs.
  • Resolve guest complaints and troubleshoot issues.
  • Record guest accounts accurately for bookkeeping.
  • Check-in and check-out guests; issue keys; collect credit card info.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.

Responsibilities


  • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests

  • Mitigate customer complaints as needed

  • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information

  • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information

  • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready


Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems

  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills

  • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations

  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred

  • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent


Compensation: $22.01 hourly
