Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel is seeking a Security Ambassador to ensure safety for guests, team members and assets while delivering exceptional service. You will greet guests, verify IDs, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High school diploma or GED, 1-2 years security experience, and the ability to work a graveyard shift. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the ability to operate in a smoking environment. Apply now.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; preferred security experience.
• Ability to work Grave Shift 11:30 pm to 8:00 am.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure per Virginia Gaming Control Board or applicable entity.
• Exposure to alcohol and smoking environment; able to work in it.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome.
• Check IDs and enforce age and prohibited-item rules.
• Explain casino and hotel rules and code of conduct.
• Interact professionally with guests; provide directions and inquiries.
• Assist with disputes, intoxicated subjects and security matters.
• Investigate incidents and refer to management when needed.
• Notify supervisor or management of unusual events or crimes.
• Respond to medical or fire emergencies.
• Operate the Security Dispatch Office and two-way radio/phone.
• Monitor entrance; log visitors and vendors visiting facilities.
• Control traffic in valet and parking areas.
• Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers.
• Report safety hazards; ensure guests and team safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
