Job summary

SP Plus Corporation (Metropolis) is hiring a Mobility Specialist in Houston to greet guests, guide them through parking technology, and enroll customers in our checkout-free parking experience. You will patrol lots, educate customers, resolve questions, and maintain facility cleanliness.

This role requires stamina, strong service orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided and growth potential exists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior parking industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service orientation with a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Comfortable using mobile devices and technology (iPad, iPhone, Android devices).
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken English with customers and team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in parking lots and garages, providing professional and friendly service.
• Educate customers on Metropolis parking technology and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Promote positive customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent customer service.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns confidently and courteously.
• Patrol assigned parking lots and garages to identify vehicles without proper payment or authorization.
• Issue parking violations in accordance with company policies.
• Document violations using company-provided mobile devices, including photo documentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness of parking lots, garages, and common areas.
• Identify and report debris, spills, hazards, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Sweep floors, collect trash, and empty trash receptacles as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including cleaning, washing, oil changes, and minor upkeep.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Observe all safety protocols at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
