Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Pompano Beach is seeking a friendly Restaurant Associate responsible for serving food and beverages, greeting guests, taking orders, inputting into POS, and delivering orders with accuracy.

This role supports nightly operations in a 24/7 service environment; follow safety procedures, uphold liquor regulations, and upsell desserts or specialty coffees; strong guest relations and team collaboration required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified
• Basic knowledge of English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials or promotions.
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system and relay details to the kitchen.
• Deliver orders to guests and provide appropriate condiments.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and check IDs as required.
• Replenish beverages and upsell desserts or specialty coffees.
• Perform side work and cleaning tasks to maintain health standards and a neat appearance.
