Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly and professional Food & Beverage Associate to serve guests in a fast-paced hotel restaurant setting in Pompano Beach, FL. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction while adhering to all liquor regulations.

Position requires knowledge of F&B service, ability to handle POS systems, and capability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of certification.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English for inquiries and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and explain specials.
• Check station setup for cleanliness before, during, and after shift.
• Record and repeat guest orders to ensure accuracy.
• Enter orders into POS and communicate with kitchen.
• Deliver orders with condiments to guests and confirm accuracy.
• Adhere to liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Assist in dessert and specialty coffee service.
• Clear and reset tables; perform side work and health hygiene tasks.
• Present checks promptly and follow company policies.
• Follow safety and security procedures and report hazards.
