Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly, proactive server to deliver food and beverages with high standards of guest service. You will take orders, input them into the POS, ensure accuracy, and deliver dishes with proper condiments while maintaining compliance with liquor regulations.

The role requires knowledge of service etiquette, multi-tasking during busy shifts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment 24/7.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in the process of being certified.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• English sufficient to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to read product labeling for safe application.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (coffee maker etc.).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and explain specials or promotions.
• Record and repeat customer orders; input into POS accurately.
• Deliver orders with correct condiments and check for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Restock beverages and assist with clearing/resettling tables.
• Present checks promptly and uphold health and safety standards.
• Assist other restaurant staff as needed.
