Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated server to provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel setting. You will greet guests, take and input orders, and deliver meals with accuracy and attentiveness to guest satisfaction.

You must maintain knowledge of safety standards and liquor regulations, assist other restaurant team members, and contribute to a positive dining experience across shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of liquor regulations at state, federal and corporate levels.
• Holder of a current Food Handler Card or in process of certification.
• Holder of a valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give instructions.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials and promotions.
• Record order details, verify accuracy with guests.
• Input orders into POS and relay to kitchen.
• Deliver orders with condiments.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and safety policies.
• Restock beverages and assist with side work.
• Maintain cleanliness and health standards.
• Present checks promptly.
• Assist other restaurant personnel as needed.
