Hornblower Group, a global leader in experiences and transportation, seeks a Server Assistant for its City Cruises division in Boston. The role focuses on prompt food and beverage service, guest hospitality, and safety awareness aboard vessels.

You will assist servers, maintain dining areas, and provide guests with menu details and cruise information while supporting a smooth sailing experience for all aboard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet minimum state age requirements.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests.
• Clean up dishes and glassware from tables to galley.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry them to the galley.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and service stations.
• Set up and break down dining room and service stations as prescribed.
• Provide information to guests about menu descriptions, service order, and cruise route.
