Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the General Manager with daily operations, supervise hourly staff, and uphold accounting and cash control policies. The ASM will help manage cash handling, inventory, banking, and payroll tasks while maintaining the store’s image and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Able to communicate, count, read and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Able to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist the general manager with day-to-day store operations.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline hourly employees.
• Monitor cash handling and inventory; investigate shortages/overages up to $100/month.
• Maintain records and cashier accountability sheets; assist with banking, invoicing and payroll duties.
• Manage cash deposits and change orders; ensure store image standards are met.
• Engage in promotions and guest service initiatives; ensure store safety and cleanliness.
