Job summary

Bear Creek Resort is seeking a Security Team Member focused on guest safety and service. You will patrol the resort, respond to incidents, assist investigations, and coordinate with departments on parking needs while maintaining a positive guest experience.

The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma and flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous security or customer service experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests
• Patrol entire resort area, inside and out
• Contact and assist police with investigations as needed
• Assist in accident investigations
• Coordinate with other departments parking needs and expectations
• Assist parking attendants and/or other departments as needed
• Attend court hearings as needed
• Assist in special events
• Check stairwells, fire exits, and mechanical rooms
• Answer the security telephone as needed
• Be familiar with and understand the Resort's Emergency Action Plan and evacuation procedures and carry out emergency procedures as necessary
• Control crowds as required
• Maintain a shift log
• Direct emergency services in and out of the resort
• Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day
• Familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities
• Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
• Maintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
• Work as a team member to ensure our guests have the best possible experience
• Understand emergency procedures and be able to apply them when necessary
• Report any incidents, property damage or injuries immediately to Manager/Supervisor
• Attend department meetings and training sessions as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Supervisor

• Comply with Bear Creek and Southern Management's policies and procedures
