Job summary

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is seeking a Hotel Front Desk Team Member dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role centers on greeting guests, efficient check-in/check-out, and ensuring needs are met with high service standards.

You will balance cash, assist with reservations, and coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless visit. Excellent communication and a calm, attentive demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year guest service experience preferred.
• Hospitality Management coursework or degree preferred.
• Availability during peak times: weekends, holidays and events.
• Proficiency with hotel software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide our guests with efficient, friendly and thoughtful service.
• Complete check-in and check-out procedures, compute bills, collect payment and make change.
• Answer inquiries about resort amenities, services, policies, and local attractions.
• Answer phones with proper etiquette and route calls accordingly.
• Make, confirm and cancel reservations and respond to reservation questions.
• Communicate with other departments as needed via phone or radio.
• Balance cash receipts and perform bucket checks during shifts.
• Handle dissatisfied guests professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure attention to detail for groups, tours and corporate guests.
