Job summary

Bear Creek Mountain Resort seeks a Security Team Member dedicated to providing a safe, enjoyable guest experience. The role supports the security team, works with others and individually, emphasizing strong communication and attention to detail to protect guests and assets.

Responsibilities include patrolling the resort, assisting with investigations, coordinating parking needs, supporting events, and executing emergency procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous security or customer service experience required.
• Flexible schedule and availability during peak operating times (weekends/holidays/events).
• CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
• Patrol entire resort area, inside and out.
• Contact and assist police with investigations as needed.
• Assist in accident investigations.
• Coordinate with other departments for parking needs and expectations.
• Attend court hearings as needed.
• Assist in special events.
• Check stairwells, fire exits, and mechanical rooms.
• Answer the security telephone as needed.
• Be familiar with Emergency Action Plan and evacuation procedures and carry out emergency procedures.
• Control crowds as required.
• Maintain a shift log.
• Direct emergency services in and out of the resort.
