Job summary

ARK is seeking an experienced assistant general manager to lead daily hotel operations and deliver a 5-star guest experience. This hands-on role requires partnering with the general manager and actively supervising staff to run smooth, guest-centered service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hospitality management, a strong focus on guest satisfaction, and a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in hospitality required.
• Strong guest-first focus with exceptional customer service.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience managing a team in hospitality preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategic plans.
• Supervise and mentor team members, maintaining high morale.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations.
• Manage financial performance by monitoring budgets and costs.
• Coordinate with department heads to streamline operations.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Consult with the GM to ensure daily guest service standards are met.
• Follow local, state, federal, and corporate policies.
