ARK is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in planning and overseeing day-to-day hotel operations in Newington, NH. You will supervise staff, resolve guest issues, and strive to deliver a 5-star guest experience.

The ideal candidate brings a hospitality degree and 3+ years of managerial experience in the hotel industry, with strong leadership and budgeting abilities to maintain high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in hotel/hospitality management.
• Experience supervising or managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as manager on duty and lead property operations when General Manager is unavailable.
• Supervise Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments.
• Assist with scheduling, interviewing, onboarding, and coaching of staff.
• Monitor performance, provide counseling and performance improvement as needed.
• Ensure adherence to policies, brand standards, and procedures.
• Conduct regular property and room inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with guest accounts, billing, and direct billing processes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping to ensure timely service and repairs.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage budget and profitability.
