Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (RISE Dispensaries) seeks an Asset Protection Specialist to blend hospitality with safety leadership. You are the warm, welcoming face who helps guests feel safe while upholding security standards.

You’ll monitor entrances and floors, de-escalate issues, escort guests when needed, and partner with teams to keep operations compliant and smooth. The role emphasizes guest-first service and mobility in a bustling dispensary.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest-first service.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes varying shifts (mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Reliable, responsible attendance.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state cannabis employment requirements.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism.
• Uphold compliance standards during check-in and entry.
• Set the “RISE Vibe” from the moment customers enter the doors.
• Provide basic concierge-level support: answer questions and direct traffic.
• Deter incidents and maintain a sense of calm and order on the floor.
• Monitor entry, exits, and site perimeters for safety and comfort.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.
• Escort customers when needed and stay mobile across the dispensary.
• Report safety or compliance incidents promptly and accurately.
• Assist with emergency procedures and preparedness.
• Conduct visual inspections per SOPs to maintain a secure environment.
• Collaborate with store teams and leadership; support training of new APS staff.
