Job summary

307 RACING MANAGEMENT, LLC is seeking a dedicated Casino Floor Attendant in Sheridan, WY. The role focuses on greeting guests, managing cash transactions, and assisting players with wagering terminals while maintaining a courteous atmosphere on the floor.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting minor terminal issues, explaining game mechanics and club benefits, and ensuring adherence to gaming laws and internal controls. This position requires flexibility for long shifts and week-ends.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality comfortable initiating greetings and conversations.
• Experience using basic tools.
• Proven experience accurately counting, handling, and keeping track of money.
• Ability to quickly learn pari-mutuel equipment, and rules and regulations.
• Basic understanding of, and experience using, computers and computer programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including both written and verbal forms.
• Professional appearance and personal hygiene as deemed appropriate by supervisor.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screenings.
• Work is performed indoors.
• More than 40 hours a week will be required at times. Work hours subject to change.
• Must be able to work long hours under busy conditions.
• Subject to hazards which may cause personal bodily harm; smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors, and elevated noise levels.
• Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Walk the OTB floor and greet customers, providing friendly, courteous service.
• Answer guest questions and build rapport with returning customers.
• Handle cash transactions and jackpots accurately on terminals.
• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on terminals when necessary.
• Protect company assets by following policies and gaming regulations.
• Interact with guests and staff in a professional manner.
• Communicate how terminals operate, Winners Club benefits, and site amenities.
• Calmly listen to guest concerns and resolve when possible.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of the gaming area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adapt to busy environments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
