The role requires strong communication, the ability to work long hours, and compliance with gaming regulations. Indoor work environment, with shifts potentially over 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality comfortable initiating greetings and conversations.
• Experience using basic tools.
• Previous proven experience accurately counting, handling, and keeping track of money.
• Ability to quickly learn pari-mutuel equipment and rules.
• Basic understanding of, and experience using, computers and programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, including written and verbal forms.
• Professional appearance and personal hygiene.
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
• Verify right to work in the United States.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screenings.
• Work is performed indoors.
• More than 40 hours a week may be required at times.
• Must be able to work long hours under busy conditions.
• Duties may involve walking and standing for long periods.
• Duties may involve moving on uneven or hard surfaces.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Walk the gaming area engaging with guests in an upbeat, attentive manner.
• Explain terminal operation, Winners Club benefits, and promotions.
• Calmly listen to guest concerns and attempt to resolve.
• Accurately count and maintain cash bank and transactions.
• Keep gaming area clean, stocked, and well maintained.
• Troubleshoot minor repairs on wagering terminals.
• Work with staff and guests with courtesy.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.
• Maintain good working relations with supervisors, employees, regulators.
• Follow supervisor instructions.
• Be capable of handling busy periods and high volumes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
