Job summary

Target’s Service & Engagement Team Leader role in Trumbull, CT offers the chance to lead a team of Guest Advocates and Front of Store Attendants, delivering an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience. You’ll train, coach and evaluate team members, manage daily workload, and support store sales goals while ensuring compliance and safety.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, experience leading a team in retail, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
18 years of age or older.
Retail experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of hourly associates (Guest Advocates, Service Advocates, Front of Store Attendants) to deliver Target’s guest experience commitments.
Plan daily/weekly workload to meet service and sales goals.
Coach, develop and evaluate team members, ensuring best practices and safety standards.
Monitor area metrics and respond to guest needs and issues with urgency and courtesy.
Support merchandise protection, safety, and store operations across shifts.
