Job summary

Target is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader to help deliver an outstanding guest experience in our store. You will lead a team of hourly associates, coach performance, and ensure operations meet guest expectations across in-store and digital channels.

The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills. You will participate in training, manage workload, and support store goals while adhering to store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Train and ensure team delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations.
• Observe and provide feedback, and hold team members accountable.
• Review area guest, financial and team metrics to identify opportunities and take action.
• Lead a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, coaching and development.
• Support and enable drive-up orders and other services, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Demonstrate safety, compliance and ethical conduct; maintain a guest-centric culture.
