Job summary

Target is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader to drive guest service excellence in-store. You will lead a team of hourly associates, coach staff, and ensure consistent delivery of Target’s guest experience commitments across checkout lanes, guest services, and drive-up options.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, effective communication, and the ability to manage workload in a fast-paced retail environment. Training and development are highlighted as key growth areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member understands and is trained in delivering the guest experience commitments.
• Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing good guest experiences.
• Lead a team of hourly associates to meet service and sales goals and maintain store standards.
• Support and enable team members to deliver Drive Up, pickup and related services efficiently and accurately.
