Job summary

Urban Air Augusta is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, motivate a high-energy team, and uphold our Culture of Activating Awesome. This role drives exceptional customer service, staffing, training and adherence to safety and operating standards.

You will supervise staff, assist with hiring and coaching, manage scheduling, inventory and expenses, and ensure a safe, clean venue across attractions, food and beverage. Weekend, evenings and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory or management experience required
• Experience in hospitality is a MUST
• Ability to pass a thorough background check
• CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred
• Brand Ambassador and Culture Champion
• Demonstrated ability to develop team members
• Professional grooming and conduct expected at all times
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a team environment with exceptional customer service and oversee staff performance
• Assist in hiring, retention, coaching, and staff training programs
• Develop weekly schedules and ensure appropriate staffing to maximize customer experience
• Lead and influence staff through motivation and alignment with goals
• Select and develop staff for leadership opportunities
• Ensure employee recognition and incentive programs are carried out
• Assist with inventory control and expense management
• Oversee operations across attractions, food/beverage, and facilities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for guests and staff
• Continuously improve operations following Urban Air standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
