Job summary

The Escape Game in Downtown Austin is seeking a Team Leader to deliver five-star guest experiences and lead a 4-15 person team across shifts. You will uphold our service standards, handle opening/closing, ensure games start on time, and coach teammates with a focus on positive attitudes, adaptability, and problem solving in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical tasks such as cleaning, lifting, and occasional

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability; nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods (about 75-80% of your shift).
• Align with TEG’s Uniform Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with a team of 4-15.
• Create a fun, positive atmosphere for guests and team.
• Open and close the store and ensure games start on time.
• Facilitate team member breaks and coach using Continuous, Gracious Pressure.
• Address minor maintenance issues and manage cash/inventory.
• Ensure every guest has a five-star experience and leaves happy.
