Job summary

Target is seeking a Service and Engagement Team Leader to drive guest experience in-store. You’ll lead a team of hourly associates, coach performance, and ensure smooth daily operations, including drive-up and pickup activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, hold team members accountable, recognize great moments.
• Review area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Lead a team of Guest Advocates, Service Advocates and Front of Store Attendants to exceed guest service expectations.
• Model execution of best practices, onboarding and learning to close skill gaps.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals and deliver guest engagement.
• Support Target Loyalty Program education and benefits for guests.
